The exhibit hall is hung with 340 quilts, all judged with their ID cards attached, along with lots of winner ribbons! The name labels on the back of the quilts were uncovered after the judging was completed. The show looks beautiful and we’re ready for everyone to see it at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Mary Nell Magee is setting up a special display called “Is Quilting All You Do?” Quilters are involved in a wide variety of other skilled activities. This display will be along the hallway on the way to the Garden Room and Executive Conference Room, where the lectures and demos will take place. Be sure to check the Schedule of lectures/demos so you can get in on the ones you want to attend. All are free.
One of the traveling Hoffman Challenge trunk shows will be on display on the north wall outside the exhibit hall. Our PBQ Boutique has a room full of neat items, and the Silent Auction is set up in the main hall.
The vendors are setting up, and it is exciting to see the rolling carts of fabric being brought in for our shopping.
